To Felt or Not To Felt

I’m almost done designing a Tunisian purse with Patons SWS. I thought I’d try an experiment to see how it felts.

Update: I definitely am not felting this one. I really didn’t care for how it turned out, but it did make a much thicker fabric than I was expecting. It lost the stitch definition too much for me, but I’m pleased to say that it did hold the colours quite well. There was also quite a dramatic loss in size – more than I’ve experienced with other yarns I’ve felted. I started out with a swatch the size of the post-it note in the picture.
