I was jumping up and down with joy today. Turns out that getting knitting supplies is the perfect antidote to a cold 
My KnitPicks order came along with the Tap Dancing Lizard book that I won on ebay. I really really really like the KnitPicks needles. They are very sharp though – must remember where I put them so as not to sit on them like I did the bamboo sock needles!
I immediately cast on for the Einstein coat, and wow is this ever nice wool. The Alpaca softens it up beautifully. It’s a little more red than my monitor displayed, but that’s fine by me – I loves me some hot red for dreary fall days!
I am now officially on a yarn/pattern/hook/needle diet. Why you ask? Well, here are my dirty little secret pictures. This disaster of a room is the Stashaholic Design Studio (aka the spare bedroom). Note the bookshelf – the top shelf actually collapsed from the weight of the books. There are more books in the hallway, I just was too embarrassed to post pics of them! Each of the Rubbermaid containers are full of yarn. Definitely time for a diet
