Orange you glad I bought this?

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Today it’s lovely – 22C and sunny and all is well with my little world. I’ll make an honest effort to blog more. I’ve been suffering from the “blue widgets” as we used to call it when I was a young child…but I’m feeling much better these days.

I had a perfectly lovely day at the Purl today (when don’t I?)

This followed me home…my homage to fall coming (despite the fact that Mother Nature is teasing us – she will pull this beautious weather out from under us andit will be like a slap upside the head with a dead cod….but that’s for another day)

Louet: Merino/Silk
Colourway Golden Hibiscus

I also finally got a picture of the finished February Lady sweater

Pattern: February Lady
Yarn: Tanis Fiber Arts Green Label Aran Weight (bought at The Purl)
Needles: 4.5mm

And matching socks! (Pattern to be released soon – I’m the test knitter)

Bring on fall – I’m ready

  2. Your LFS is amazing and with matching socks even! I also love your merino silk. I think i’m going to search out orange and black at the K/W fair on saturday to start making pumpkins and other halloween goodies. I need to find time to drop into the purl! I miss you guys! August was such a crazy month for me but I’m hoping to make it in with my k/w fair hang over on sunday.
