Yarn: Topsy Farms
Weight: 2 ply fine (worsted)
Colour: Ruby Red
Topsy Farms’ yarn is heavy in lanolin. While this is amazing on my skin, I did find that it made it more difficult to knit with as each stitch was a teeny bit stickier. I used it for the Scholar’s Jacket and loved the way it turned out but this time I decided to experiment prior to knitting. I washed it in hot water and Orvus Paste, rinsing until the water ran clear.
It is destined to be Bernhardt. Of course given that I’ve frogged two sweaters in the last three weeks, time will tell!
