Lock me up

Certified. Delirious. Insane. Panicked.

Thus describes my mood this morning. I don’t know how I get myself into these states, but I am truly the Queen of Denial. Remember the Christmas list? Well it’s that all over again!

  1. I’m teaching in Kingston April 1st and have to have pattern and instructions in a coherent form because the Crochet Dude is coming up to take the class – no pressure!

  2. I’m teaching How to Read a Pattern to Toronto Hookups members on Feb 18th (OMG that’s next week!) and have to have something resembling instructions that beginner’s can follow

  3. I’m teaching Beginner’s Knitting at a Crochet/Knit retreat April 22nd and have to make a sampler and instructions for people who have never held sticks before.

  4. I ordered my brother’s afghan kit – no idea when the wedding is, but it’s definitely this year

  5. I’m doing another Heartmade Blessings comfortghan for a friend of mine.

  6. I started the Clapotis scarf.

This one did me in. I swore I wasn’t going to do the Crocheting or Knitting Olympics so I didn’t sign up for them. I got caught up in the spirit of the event and well, you know my level of willpower. Zero.

So here’s where I got to last night. I’m using a Patons Decor yarn and it’s very nice and soft. I got to the point last night where I had to drop the stitches (gulp) but I thought that was something I should do when rested, so today, that’s my challenge – to do that without screwing up the whole scarf!
