The postman comes to visit so often that I feel I should get a frequent buyer discount from Canada Post!

Today he brought my KnitPicks needles

All I can say is HOLY TOOT THESE ARE AMAZING – YOU HAVE TO GET SOME!

….Ok, I’ll try to be a bit more circumspect in my descriptions

BUT OMG THEY ARE NICEST NEEDLES EVER!

…..no really, they are

AND THEY GAVE ME 6 NEEDLES IN THE CIRCS!

….they must have seen me rooting under the bed and the couch looking for the *(()*&^$%^$ missing needle.

already in use on Tofutsie Jaywalkers:

In use on Hemlock KAL

As if that’s not cool enough, on the weekend I went to a new store at Ossington and Bloor (102 Ossington to be exact) that’s opened by a local yarn farm (what else do you call them?)

Lindenhof Wool Mill is testing the market so to speak – come out in droves please – you won’t be disappointed. They’ve got scrumptious bats and roving, wonderful mohair/wool crosses, patterns, kits….lovely stuff really. Somehow I went on a burgundy kick (not really my colours but they were so rich and soft that they grabbed me just the same)

I am very anxious to start spinning, but I’ve also ordered a WooLee Winder for my Little Gem. Hopefully it comes this week – the anticipation is killing me!

  1. oooh…very jealous indeed! I was just sitting here contemplating the Turkish Cast on Method thinking…if only I had ordered those Harmony needles already…I would have the other perfect size to not have to make due. I don’t think I will have the will power to deny myself those lovelies! So much for easing up on yarn related expenditures…this always happens! (sigh)

  2. They are lovely Jessie – I’ve had the metal ones since they came out and love them. I had an issue with one of the cables and KnitPicks replaced it right away.

These are very nice to work with – a bit sticky because of the coating, but that can be good depending on what you’re working with. I also expect that to wear off with time and use.

Love Love Love Knitpicks needles – I have never ever been disappointed.

  3. I want to borrow your needles. You’ll get them back when I have finished all the socks I am making now.

What a fab set. I am not jealous, not at all…….ah, I want them
