Stormy Weather
The second storm in a week is moving through Toronto and let me tell you, there is a LOT of snow out there. Back to back storms of 15-30 cms (6-12 inches) depending on where in the metro area you are. More than I have seen in years. Because I live in a basement apartment, I have a wall o’ snow outside the window and am feeling a bit claustrophobic.
Here was my walk to work. The pictures are a bit dark because I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. Today the storm at night (we had a brief reprise during the day) was accompanied by thundersnow and freezing rain.
I have made some progress on my crocheted sweater, but spent all of last night looking for one ball of yarn that I know is missing. It’s the only thing that stands between me and finishing a sweater. I’ve posted a plea on Ravelry for Jo Sharp Silk Road Tweed in colour 401 Celestine (dyelot 12), I’d be eternally grateful.
I’m going to keep on knitting in the vain hope that
a) the knitting gods will stop being pissed at me or
b) the ball will magically appear.
At this point, I’m not sure either is likely but it’s worth a shot.

I don’t have your ball of wool but I did start my crocheted plastic rug. I think I have to frog the whole thing and use a smaller hook. It’s different I will say that.
Gorgeous pictures. I hope it’s nice and warm for your visit…five more sleeps
