Thank you all for being kind enough not to point out the mistake in the socks posted yesterday. Luckily my friend Pirk is a very diplomatic person.

I pulled them out of my bag and sure enough. Two different cuffs. One in a 1×1 ribbing and one in 2×2
I can’t even blame it on the merlot – I was stone cold sober when I knit these. Instead I choose to blame this lack of attention on the hockey game . Honestly I have never done a 1 x 1 rib on a sock in my entire knitting life.
I frogged them and reknit them on the way to the Purl today.
I think I’ll have a glass of wine now – clearly it helps my knitting.
You are very dedicated to have redone the cuffs. I would have been very lazy and just left them!! They look great though 🙂
I love those socks. I am glad I had the moment to touch and see them “live”.
