Love at first Knit
Words can not express how much I love this shawl. Madly. Deeply. Maybe more than chocolate.
This is the first “real” laceweight piece I’ve knit. I’ve done shawls with lace in them (such as Icarus – also by Miriam) but never a whole piece. This one had 18 charts which I will admit had me a little freaked out. But row by row I worked through it. I learned that if I was having troubles with a row that it’s a good idea to tink three because chances are I made a mistake on the last knit row.
The combination of the beautiful pattern and the stunning yarn is a match made in heaven. The old saying…”you had me at hello” translated to me to be “you had me with the cast on”

Yarn: Tanis Laceweight, Garnet colourway
Needle: 3.5mm

I love it too! so much that I am thinking of adding it to my queue. I also got a skein of the garnet saturday in fingering weight. I don’t know what it will be yet, but it’s such a lovely colour!
