I’ve been so busy this week that I haven’t had much of a chance to catch up, so here is the scoop:

Lillith2 (hereto known as L2) arrived on Monday. I had purchased her from Julie at Black Lamb in Port Hope when she was at the Knitter’s Frolic. I got some extra bobbins because, well I have the attention span of a 2 year old and can’t commit to spinning something for too long.

I’ve obviously got to work on the tensioning a bit more….this one is much more sensitive than L1.

I can’t believe how freakin’ cold it is today – thank goodness I don’t have any little ones that want to go on egg hunts. I guess we got spoiled with some +10 degree weather, and it makes it even harder to go back to the -10 it is right now.

I consoled myself by starting a new project. I was snorkeling around and came across this sweater from Elann.

Well the total hours worked since Monday = 65. My hands are sore and I don’t think there’s much I’ll accomplish today so I thought I’d bring you up to date with my WIPS. I enjoyed Booga #1 so much that I thought it would make a great present for someone on my list. (Not to mention it’s super fast).So off I went to Mary Maxim at Yonge & Eglinton and bought more Noro Kuryeon while it’s on sale (which ends today). I bought about the brightest colourway I could find for this particular person because it’s a running joke now that she gets something pink each year. I felted my booga bag last night. What fun! I tried a few different ways:1) with dish soap – not much happened2) with dish soap and jeans – apparently one shouldn’t try to felt with ragged jeans – the nobly parts felt in with the yarn3) throwing caution to the wind, wash it with Sunlight laundry soap and really hot waterEureka! My Booga is a Booga bag that I cast on for at 8pm on Friday night and just cast off the last blessed stitch of 6 feet of icord. D’ya know why they call it an icord?
