To blog or not to blog?
I’ve been blogging less and less over the last few months. I seem to have lost my blogging mojo.
When I first started this back in 2005, it was a great way to keep track of what I was working on, publish patterns, and just generally ramble.
Well, Ravelry now has most of my information, it’s easier to tweet, and although I’m happy people come to get my free patterns, it would be nice if they went somewhere else on the site or at least would leave a comment to let me know they were here.
So I’m going to put the blog on hold for a while. Maybe I’ll get the mojo back, maybe I won’t. But blogging used to be something I looked forward to. Now it seems to be a chore.
I’m becoming more of a solitary knitter and it may just be that I’m burned out on social media. Since I’m a webmaster by trade, coming home and doing more updates is pretty much the last thing I want to do.
I’m packing for a trip to Halifax now, so we’ll see how I feel when I come back.
If I don’t talk to you soon – happy knitting.
I have enjoyed reading your blog for sometime now. Thank you for all the valuable info.
Enjoy your trip down east. I was just thinking about how I hadn’t seen your blog lately, then voila! there you were.
We all tire of things, I totally get it. I will miss reading your funny stories & interesting finds. Carol.
Have fun on your trip.
Completely understandable – I just started blogging again after 6 – 7 months, and I’m still not completely excited about it.
So maybe a break will be enough to revive your interest…
Hi,
Have a great time in Halifax…and do what makes you happy.

How will I get my Clancy fix?
