The coolest slippers ever!
I just think these are neat-o. They’re called pocketbook slippers – the idea is that you can put them in your pocketbook (purse) for when you go visiting. Everyone that I asked what they were said “um…a purse?”. Put your foot in the slot, stretch them out and shazam! You’ve got a slipper! Now I think for the next pair I might knit them in chunky. These are a bit thin for my taste, but they sure do the trick! Oh, and the best part, you can knit one slipper in a night – two nights and you’ve got a hostess gift or a stocking stuffer (yes, I’m planning ahead for Christmas!)

Here’s the adult slipper link, and here’s the baby version. If you want to adjust the length, just add a couple of stitches. Not too many though or they’d be too big – the magic happens in the stretching ![]()
Special thanks to my friend Pirkko for the link.

Those are awesome and someone on C’ville converted to crochet! I can’t wait to try them.
