I’ve been incredibly busy at work, piling in huge amounts of overtime – something that will continue for the next few months at least. That means my knitting time has been almost non-existent.

After Christmas I will put a post out with all the secret projects I’ve been working on – can’t do it before in case the recipients happen to wander by.

What I have been doing in the little spare time I have is spinning. Quick to set up, easy to do, and not requiring any brain function, it suits me perfectly right now.

Here’s the latest:

This was a kit from The Roving Spinners.  4 colours of blue alpaca and wool, mixed with some angelina. I haven’t measured the wpi yet but it’s somewhere around fingering weight

Tussah Silk in the Chestnut colourway from Tanis Fibre Arts

This really was a drive-by posting – there’s egg nog to drink, cookies to bake and presents to wrap…and maybe a little time to knit if I’m lucky!
