Best.Playdate.Ever

Keziah came up to play at The Purple Purl with me. She instantly fell into the rhythm of the circle, giving as good as she got. I as usual got no knitting accomplished. Foolishly I had brought Gale with me. I have no idea why because it is not a difficult pattern, but it is Kicking My Ass. I swear, it’s knit one row, frog two.

Here it is in its current state – it will likely look exactly like this in a month. I have almost one ball of Malabrigo knit up with two more in my resource centre. I will likely only do one more because I think it might be too large but we’ll see once I manage to stop frogging it. At this point, length is an abstract term to me on this project.

Jennifer took some pictures of me in two finished projects

Pattern: Chevron Sweater
Yarn: Misty Alpaca Silk/Cotton Handpaint
Hook size: 5mm

Noro Silk Garden Sock Shawl (my own pattern)
3 balls
Needle: 5mm
Note: This shawl was almost a kilometre of garter stitch when all done – good thing I didn’t calculate that prior to casting on.

I’m trying to finish up a few other lingering projects before the February Lady Knit A Long starts at The Purl, so I’ll be back with more updates soon!

  1. Beautiful FO’s – love the chevron lace sweater – colours and pattern are just perfect for this time of year and your colouring. Got to get to the Purl some time and check it out. Liz

  2. aaaaaaaaaaaahhh, how beautiful.
Love the jacket, it looks so great on you. The pattern is perfect for you.
    I like the 1000 m shawl too.
    You did great

  3. When you are in a not good position and have got no money to move out from that, you would require to take the loan. Because that would help you unquestionably. I take short term loan every year and feel myself fine because of it.
