Aran Sweater Update
I had to frog this sweater a few times because of a PIBCHAI (Problem In Between Crochet Hook and Instructions). Those who are computer geeks will recognize my take on the famous Help Desk Diagnoses, PIBCAK (Problem In Between Chair and Keyboard = stupid user).
I was totally not understanding the instructions last week, so I frogged the top half of the sweater and put aside to work on a comfortghan for my friend’s mom (all 12 squares started, completed, edged and joined in 2 weeks – not bad!). I finished the comfortghan last night (with the help of a highly cranked up air conditioner) and started on the top of the sweater again.

I’m so sorry to hear about your problems with the Aran sweater – often it’s just best to let projects rest for a while and go on to something else – just wait and see, after this break the sweater will be done in no time! I can’t believe how quickly you made this afghan, wow – and it looks absolutely fantastic! Great job – I’m sure your friend’s mom is going to love it!
