A frolicking good time was had by all
Yesterday was a cold and rainy day. Perfect weather for thinking of wool and fibre. Kay, Sandra, Pirk and I met for our annual pilgrimage to the Knitter’s Frolic.
I was very well behaved this year. Even though I had all intentions not to be. For some reason I just wasn’t in the mood to shop – luckily that doesn’t happen often. After the Frolic we went to our traditional post-Frolic restaurant- Olde York Fish and Chips. IMNSHO the best in Toronto (and DH the chef agrees).
I did pick up a couple of books:
Banana/merino fibre (just for the WTFibre? factor)
Hand dyed yarn from the Stoddart family. I think this will be a linen stitch scarf.
Raw Romney fibre (which the resident apartment building cat Nikki really likes)
A nice wooden gauge/needle sizer (with a highly ironic message because I never do)
And some gorgeous red and burgundy yarns from indigodragonfly.

I had a desire to make my own firm, nevertheless I did not have enough of money to do it. Thank God my close dude told to take the personal loans. Hence I took the small business loan and realized my old dream.
