I'm off to Langton (population 500 during the tourist season) to celebrate my dad's 75th birthday. I'm actually driving the new car for the first time on a long distance by myself. I feel like such a grownup!
Much deliberation went over the selection of cd's. I can blare them as loudly as I want without someone in the backseat going "ugh" and someone in the front seet going "ick". Not only that, I can listen to the news the entire way if I want without someone saying "we heard that story 3 times now"
I am a certified news junky and could listen to CNN all day. I do listen to 680 news at work, and mostly it just blends into the background.

The trip is about 2.5 hrs, and I'll be singing at the top of my lungs the whole way.
