As if being addicted to crocheting, regular knitting, cable knitting isn't enough, now I've conquered my fear of psso's and yo's and moved into the world of lace knitting.

I finished and blocked my first piece yesterday. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. The yarn is Fleece Artist (what else?) Kid Silk and it's just beautiful. I discovered a really neat-o trick about blocking. Run a guide thread through the edges, pull it really tight and fasten - it makes it much easier to pin out your work.

So, with this scarf completed, I'm one more Christmas present closer to being done
