None of the 9 projects I started this weekend were entertaining me, so when one of the Yahoo groups I belong to suggested that we do a Crochet-A-Long (CAL) for this doily, I decided to participate. Well in my type-A way, I got the entire centre done before the project even officially kicked off.  I like this one a lot and I really like making Irish crochet roses, so I'm going to do the rose version first. (obviously it's not blocked or starched yet)

I was recently gifted with a whole garbage bag full of different colour threads, so I'm good to go. But the threads were odds and sods with a bit left on each cone, so I wound them off on my yarn winder so that I had little bits. I went from a huge garbage bag to this tiny little box.
