Happy New Year!
The options were 1) Go out with a bunch of drunks or 2) freeze my nether parts off at an outdoors celebration with thousands of people I don't know and likely wouldn't want to be near at any other time of the year or 3) stay home and knit.
d'uh no choice was there?
While some were out partaking in New Year's celebrations, I was a busy little knitter. I finished three hats for my manager's children. I think they turned out really cute. They are all Lion Brand patterns. Caution - the patterns aren't all that well written and I had to get creative at some points, but nothing to horrible. The pattern are here for the Apple Hat, The Panda Bear and the Froggy

You do beautiful work. I spent the New Year in much the same way. Learning how to knit socks. Got stuck on the heel though and waiting now for a friend to show me how. : ) Ended up the evening crocheting magic square potholders.

Adorable! I stayed in with some yarn too. Best way to spend the New Year imho.

Cute hats! I think you made the right decision! I stayed home too. It's just too dangerous out there on amateur night!
